With this year’s autumn collection, A Softer Reality, Søstrene Grene invites you into a soft and poetic universe, where the season’s tactile interior trends unfold across furniture, homeware, and decorative details. Get a preview of the collection, launching on 27 August.

A chair with a brand-new, enveloping design, ceramics defined by wavy silhouettes and swirl effects, side tables with elegant glass surfaces, and a new LED lamp in a sleek chrome-effect finish. These are just some of the new arrivals in Søstrene Grene’s autumn collection, where the season’s key interior trends are reflected in everything from furniture and tableware to lighting and decorative details – all at accessible prices.

“With A Softer Reality, we have created a collection that feels like a quiet pause in a busy everyday life. The designs are rooted in contemporary trends, yet interpreted through a gentle and poetic lens, where classic references, organic shapes and small, playful details bring elegance, personality, and a sense of presence into the home,” says Kristina Kirkegaard, Head of Design at Søstrene Grene. The collection reflects several of the defining interior trends of the moment:

“We are seeing soft shapes continue to make their way into the home – from sculptural furniture with delicate curves to ceramics with organic swirl effects and ribbed detailing. At the same time, clear glass and chrome are gaining ground as materials that add light, airiness and a reflective quality. They sit beautifully alongside the collection’s charming details, such as conch shells, bows, hearts and fruit motifs, which bring a smile and lend interiors a whimsical, personal touch,” says Kristina Kirkegaard.

Soft shapes and enveloping curves
Soft, organic shapes continue to define contemporary interiors, bringing a sense of ease and calm into the home. In the autumn collection, this sculptural language is expressed through a new statement chair with an enveloping silhouette, ceramics with wavy shapes, curved candleholders, and tableware with ribbed detailing.

Clear glass and cool chrome
Reflective surfaces bring lightness and a refined modern edge to autumn interiors. In the collection, organic glass vases and side tables with round glass tops, together with a new LED lamp in a cool-toned chrome look, create a contemporary contrast to the season’s warm tones and soft silhouettes.

While the season’s colour palette is soft and subdued across larger surfaces, little playful details and gentle pops of colour add a lively touch to the autumn collection.
