On Thursday 7 May, Søstrene Grene unveils a brand-new online furniture collection featuring designs for every corner of the home – at prices that make it easy to refresh the home without breaking the budget. The collection includes everything from cabinets, shelves and side tables to chairs, stools and lounge chairs, bringing together new designs and familiar favourites in refreshed interpretations.

With this new collection, Søstrene Grene continues its design journey in a world where natural materials, functionality and aesthetics go hand in hand. The result is furniture with a light and timeless feel, made to last in the home for years to come and adapt effortlessly to different spaces and needs.

New timeless designs and flexible solutions
The collection has been created by Søstrene Grene’s in-house design team in Aarhus, drawing on the Nordic design tradition and shaped by a contemporary view of trends and the changing needs of the home. Particular care has been given to proportions, material choices and refined details, ensuring that each piece feels harmonious, modern and versatile.

Designed with flexibility in mind, the furniture can be styled with ease throughout the home. This allows for a more personal approach to decorating, while creating a cohesive look defined by calm, warmth and character.

“With the new collection, we wanted to create furniture that brings a sense of lightness into the home, where materials, colours and details come together naturally. Our ambition was to deve-lop designs that each have their own distinct character, while remaining easy to combine across the different rooms of the home,” says Kristina Kirkegaard, Head of Design at Søstrene Grene.

Light tones and signature design details
With the arrival of spring and summer, the collection brings light tones and a sense of ease into the home. Most of the new furniture pieces are available in both oak and a grey-green tone, making it possible to create beautiful contrasts between lighter and warmer tones.

Several of the new pieces are also characterised by a recurring design detail: table and chair legs are elegantly finished with a visible mortise-and-tenon joint. This creates a light, honest and refined expression, visually tying the collection together across pieces and spaces.

A popular favourite in new editions
When Søstrene Grene launched the Harmony dining chair in solid oak with a woven seat last autumn, it quickly became a favourite. In the new furniture collection, the design now continues in fresh interpretations: a lounge chair with a woven seat and matching footstool, as well as a new version of the dining chair with a soft bouclé seat. Both models are crafted from solid oak and combine a classic expression with contemporary details.

The furniture collection launches exclusively on Søstrene Grene’s webshop on Thursday 7 May 2026. Please note that the Harmony lounge chair and footstool will not be available until mid-May. All items are available only while stocks last.
