On 31 July, Søstrene Grene will launch this year’s grand autumn collection, A Story of Design. Created by the sisters’ design team, the collection features classic and stylish new pieces in timeless tones, geometric shapes and deep, warm colours – all without spending a fortune.

A brand-new oak chair with a woven seat, wavy ceramic wall reliefs and characteristic podiums in deep colours are among the many new arrivals in Søstrene Grene’s autumn collection 2025. The collection features furniture and interior pieces in entirely new design expressions, making it easy to welcome more of the season’s major trends as well as timeless elements into the home.

The collection draws inspiration from the gentle rhythms of nature and the architectural elegance of antiquity – from the curves of sand dunes and the movement of the sea to the classical expression of column shapes, which have been given a contemporary touch in glass, wood, and ceramics. At the same time, the square is introduced as a recurring design element, alongside hand-drawn illustrations and details in delicate colours, which together create a personal and modern expression.

"Throughout the collection, we have worked to create a harmonious whole, where shapes, materials, and details complement each other across the range. It is a collection that invites nature, history, and imagination into the home," explains Søstrene Grene's Head of Design, Kristina Kirkegaard.

The new collection also includes atmospheric interior details such as a trendy chrome tray, glass vases, ceramic candleholders and lampshades in new silhouettes, all inviting you to create an interior with both poetry and an edge.

The autumn collection A Story of Design celebrates Søstrene Grene’s design tradition and includes references to nature, architecture and everyday life. In this collection, the design process – from the initial sketches and working with clay to inspiring mood boards and creative experiments – is highlighted as an important part of the story.

Geometric shapes and clean lines come to the fore in the autumn collection, where the sisters have given the square shape a special place with side tables, podiums, cube-shaped candleholders and a table lamp with a pine base. Together with the collection’s other organic and flowing silhouettes, the clean lines add a sense of calm and definition to the space – creating a harmonious balance between the graphic and the sensory.
