The Christmas spirit can now be welcomed into every home. True to tradition, Søstrene Grene presents a Christmas collection that combines the classic and nostalgic with contemporary trends – as always at affordable prices.

Centred on the cherished traditions of the season that bring us together year after year, the sisters’ Christmas collection offers everything needed to decorate the home, bake Christmas cakes and sweets, adorn the tree, and set a festive table for cosy holiday gatherings.

This year’s Christmas collection introduces a range of new arrivals – from elegant LED paper stars to beaded, ceramic, glass and even oversized Christmas trees. In addition, the collection features new foldable paper mushrooms, brass-coloured ornaments with charming icons such as Santa’s key and the dove of peace, as well as artificial branches with cones and berries keeping festive bouquets fresh throughout the season. Lastly, for the first time, the sisters also present a series of porcelain Christmas elves designed to become beloved collector’s items.

In addition, several hits from last Christmas return this year, including the popular LED mushrooms, the classic foldable paper tree, and a wide assortment of light houses. The beloved bow is also back in new forms, including a bow garland, a delicate lace version, and a larger fabric version. This year’s collection also once again brings the popular beaded ornaments as well as glass baubles in new, whimsical designs, including the popular icicle ornaments, now also available in a teardrop shape.

This year’s Christmas collection will launch on Monday 13 October, which marks the beginning of Christmas at Søstrene Grene. In the coming weeks, more Christmas novelties will follow.

Trend colours: Deep bordeaux and radiant blue
Two new trend colours stand out among this year’s Christmas arrivals: electric blue, appearing subtly on beaded ornaments and small glass and ceramic figures, and, not least, deep bordeaux, featured on every-thing from stars and baubles to candles and bows. The colour also appears on the new foldable paper mushrooms as well as last year’s popular LED mushrooms.

Once again, the bow is a major trend this festive season – whether as a charming detail on a door handle, a decoration on the Christmas tree, or adorning baubles and candleholders.
